What is four12 & 220?
four12 is the student ministry at Lifesong Church. It’s a place where teenagers from all over South-Central Massachusetts can connect with each other and with God. Weekly and monthly environments allow space for them to experience real community, powerful worship, creative video, and relevant teaching - besides just being a whole lot of fun.
220 is our Sunday morning environment for 5th - 7th grade students. It's an opportunity for junior high students to build relationships and to unpack topics that are relevant to their lives from a Biblical perspective. 220 helps prepare students for their transition into senior high. Outside of Sunday mornings we put together some great events on a regular basis for our students to have a great time!
Why four12?
four12 exists to influence a passionate generation of young people who have an unyielding desire to be an example to their peers through a dynamic relationship with Jesus Christ. The heart of four12 is to encourage and inspire students to live 1st Timothy 4:12 –
Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.” It is more difficult now than ever to stand up for the things of God.
four12 Environments
Monthly Events create an environment for students to connect to community through fun or through service. Teens can invite their friends to these events; investing and inviting is a huge part of Lifesong’s DNA and therefore a part of four12’s. There are typically activities held each month, for example: laser tag, movie nights, mini golf, game nights and even shopping (just for the ladies of course). four12’s weekly service is in the planning stage. Our desire is to launch a youth service that will take place on the same day at a set time every week. We expect to have regular four12 student environment in place by Fall of 2011 with relevant teaching, engaging worship and a place for community.
