A relationship with Christ is more than saying a prayer, knowing a little bit about Him or even going to church. It’s an ongoing life process of learning and applying the truth of the Bible to our lives. At Lifesong that all begins on the GrowthTrak.
ALPHA
An opportunity to explore the meaning of life in a relaxed, friendly setting. The Alpha course usually meets over the course of one trimester of Small Groups, and includes an amazing one-day or weekend getaway. Each session, people enjoy great food, laughter and learning in a fun and friendly atmosphere where no question about life or God is seen as too simple or too hostile…questions like—Is there a God? Why am I here? Where did I come from? Where am I going?
Journey
A deeper investigation of the fundamental elements of the Christian faith and questions younger Christ-followers would ask. The meeting is a small group setting of 8-15 people and meets over the course of one trimester of Small Groups just like ALPHA. Journey concludes with an overnight experience called the Encounter.
Ascent
This third segment touches on and engages the life that one who follows Christ would live - serving others, responsibility, authentic love, and more - things that a growing Christ-follower would begin to bump up against as they are being transformed into the likeness of Christ. The meeting is a small group setting of 8-15 people and meets over the course of one trimester of Small Groups just like ALPHA and Journey. Ascent concludes with an overnight experience called Enact.
